MBAs and Other Programs Offered Through the California State University Northridge David Nazarian College of Business and Economics

The Cal State Northridge, David Nazarian College of Business and Economics MBA offers the perfect marriage between theory and practice. It features an interdisciplinary foundation, elective and specialization options, a focus on analytical and communication skills.

The Nazarian MBA is a part-time, evening program designed to accommodate the needs of busy, mid-career professionals. Students of this program take one to two courses per semester and complete the program at their own pace. Students who take two courses per semester can earn their MBA in 2.5 years. Most courses are offered in the evenings, Monday through Thursday.

Students of the Nazarian MBA can take up to seven years to earn their degree and have the option of taking up to two semesters off during the program to tend to personal or professional duties.

The Nazarian MBA consists of 33 units and culminates in an MBA Consulting Project that requires students to conduct a feasibility study or produce a business plan for a local organization. MBA students may compete in the CSUN National Small Business Institute Experiential Learning Project of the Year Competition, a contest that allows students from CSUN to present their real-world business consulting projects to the Small Business Institute. CSUN MBA teams have won first place several times in recent years.

The Nazarian MBA is open to all bachelorā€™s degree holders with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or a minimum GPA of 2.5 in their last 60 semester units. Other requirements include:
