MBAs and Other Programs Offered Through the Azusa Pacific University, School of Business and Management
Thoughtfully designed, flexible, and convenient, the School of Business and Management MBA offers an optimal blend of theory and applied learning that includes real corporate case studies exploring business decision-making. Discussions, student presentations, and team projects complement faculty lectures. Students explore the use of new technologies to solve business problems and conduct independent field research and studies.
The MBA features 42-45 credits (depending on your chosen concentration), and courses are delivered in eight-week terms. Students have the option of completing this program at their own pace, in as little as one year. Most students take one to two courses per term.
Students have the option of completing this program at the main campus in Azusa or at one of the university’s regional campuses in Murrieta, Orange County, or the Inland Empire.

Online MBA
The School of Business and Management also offers the MBA through a fully online format, with no required on-campus residencies. Classes here are asynchronous, which allows students to study on their own time, according to their own schedule.
The online MBA begins with a two-week online orientation that allows students to become familiar with the program’s online format. Tutorials and one-on-one advising sessions from the program coordinator help students schedule their classes. Continuous academic advising ensures students successfully navigate the program.

MBA Admissions Requirements
The School of Business and Management MBA is open to all applicants with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minumum GPA of 3.0.
GRE/GMAT scores are NOT required for admission.
Applicants with a GPA of 2.5 – 2.99 are considered for conditional admission. Students accepted under conditional admission may need to complete up to five prerequisite courses.
All applicants are reviewed for their potential for success as graduate business students. Applicants are selected based on their academic performance, work experience, and personal references.
The MBA application must include:
- An essay (1-2 pages) that describes your educational and professional goals
- A resume or curriculum vitae detailing your work experience
International Students
International students whose primarily language is not English and who did not earn secondary or postsecondary degrees in English must also submit proof of their English proficiency by taking a placement test with the Academic Success Center or by submitting scores from one of the following:

In addition to the study abroad trips offered as part of the MBA program, Azusa Pacific University offers a wide range of study abroad experiences (called Global Learning) through the Center for Career and Community-Engaged Learning.
Offered in the fall, spring, and summer terms for both undergraduate and graduate students, study abroad experiences include faculty-led programs of between one and eight weeks; semester programs to locations like Italy, Ecuador, Oxford, and Spain; and summer programs to places like Costa Rica, Italy, the Great Lakes, East Coast, Pacific Rim, and Ecuador.
